While doing some research earlier today, I noticed something interesting:
Wilbur and Orville Wright share a Wikipedia page. Predictably, it's called “The Wright Brothers,” and searching for their names individually simply redirects us to their joint page.
I wonder what they would think of that, if they knew? Would they be pleased to be known so strongly as a unit? Or would they prefer to be known, certainly as a team, but more separately?
Jonathan and I were pretty much always a unit while we were growing up. In fact, we were such partners that now, having been married to Lisa for over seven years, I often find that I can't recall if it was Jonathan or Lisa that I discussed something with, or heard something from, etc.
I'm so grateful for the opportunity to have spent so much time together while we were growing up. It's nice to have a close relationship with my brother, even if we never do end up on the same Wikipedia page!
